Brainstorming to myself off to one side as I often do when there's nothing to do I started thinking about the Otyugh.
The question I am wondering about semi-humourously is:
How big is its mouth?Seeing that the Otyugh is not airborne I am left to assume that the range of oral reach cannot be infinite for this toughy (

Should it be allowed to reach airborne creatures? If it reduced its omnivorous capabilities, then would this mean that a balancing buff could apply? Perhaps it could receive +2 | +1 per creature it consumes, leaving initial playing cost and activated skill cost untouched to leave us with this result:
Otyugh | Elite Otyugh |
4 | 5 |
0 | 3 | 0 | 5 |
: Devour Swallow a smaller (less HP's), accesible creature and gain +2 | +1 | : Devour Swallow a smaller (less HP's), accesible creature and gain +2 | +1 |
While I realized I may be a it biased, the Otyugh has always been seen as the bane of many decks, even with recent nerfs.
Would this make sense? Should it translate to all Devour activated skills? If so, Scarabs being airborne should be allowed to eat airborne creatures and terrestrial ones, while the Otyugh is stranded on land.
Discuss. ^_^
