The balancing issue isn't so much about its use on your creatures... its a bout its use on THE OPPONENT's creatures.
In a sense, this + GP on an enemy creature will yield the best QC in the game I think... Throw in BB for added fun.

Didn't even think of that.  Good call.  Imo, the way it is now, it's UP for self-use and balanced for use on the opponent.  I wonder if in-game it would be possible to code it as 2 turns for self, 1 turn for opponent.  That way both uses would be more balanced imo.  Or, scratch that and just have a slightly lower cost for the ability (4 instead of 5)?  Don't mind me, I'm brainstorming as I write this lol. 

Hmm...I think I like my second option better than the first, especially since creatures like graboid, seraph, and gargoyle only really need 1 turn of protection.  Yeah, scratch my first idea of the different duration for each player. 1 turn is fine. Thoughts?

Imo this is ok.  I see it as balance built into the card.  However, this is another reason that I think the cost should be lowered by 1.

Actually, I was thinking you play this on opponent's creature to make it backfire...
Its a nasty counter to armagios, for instance.

Typically, a mono or duo won't be set up to receive heavy drain of their core element(s).

This is the reason that unupgraded dispersion shield only drains 1 whereas the upgraded version drains 3 per point of damage absorbed.

Depending on the casting cost, this card + GP may end up being a more effective form of QC than even devourer fractal.

More importantly, it will be very hard on non-rainbow type decks since bows are typically better prepared to deal with devourer like quanta drains. If this card is splashable, that will make a pretty significant impact on meta game… I.e. people will either have to play bows more often, or else pack counters specifically to deal with this form of QC.

Lots of troll potential in this one.

I am think that it will act similar to Singularity, but in a perm form.
Things it could do:
1. self replicate
2. transfer or redistribute quanta between both players
3. destroy other permanents.

We already have Adrenaline, copying, giving quanta, changing both attack and hp, harmful/detrimental effects to creatures (CC), creature-changing (mutation), and random activated abilities (also from mutation).* So if you want this to be a good, new unpredictable idea, try to think of something besides what's listed.

Seeing those four similar images made me think of a 'tribal' series similar to russianspy's Crystal creatures.

Perhaps a series of creatures with the passive 'Jackal' that all buff each other?
