i have an idea for a card that could help any deck, a card that allows you to combine aspects of shield cards and or weapon cards, aspects would very depending on what elements are being combined
ie. if both of death's shields were combined the result would be one shield that had that percentage to change attacking creatures into skeletons and have the other shields ability to absorb damage with the tokens accumulated when creatures die , i don't think this would become broken as there are already so many ways to destroy or steal shields and weapons.
ie.2. if say dissipation shield were combined with emerald shield, the result would be a shield that used your quanta to protect you from all physical attacks and 50% of all spells while 50% of all spell damage would be redirected towards the opponent.
weapons could work in a similar way however limiters on those ie those that cannot be targeted cannot be the primary weapons or shields for that matter, the shield/weapon that is in play is the primary, and the one in hand the secondary, so if in the above's case, to allow for more interesting combinations, the primary would keep the secondary ability, as in skull shields ability to turn attacking creatures into skeletons, and gain the bone wall's only ability, perhaps reduced ie 1 for 1 instead of 1 for 2, and if the shields are reversed bone wall's ability and the damage prevention doing something like anything over 1 damage will remove a counter.
as for the weapons, the primary would again keep the secondary ability and gain the secondary weapons primary ability ie gravity's weapon has 2 abilities, damage and destruction, if combined with, say... water's weapon, the result could be either whichever weapon damage is higher remains and the abilities are both added but costs to use are doubled and only one can be used at a time. if the secondary weapon is one that has the immortality ability, that ability would be removed, ie if gravity's weapon were combined with light's weapon, it would result in one weapon doing increased damage and keeping the destructive weapon ability, at a cost increase.
at a later point this could also be adapted to creatures, again element depending
if anyone likes this and has some constructive criticism, i would greatly appreciate it, any ideas on what when and where, names if this gets far enough. i still have many ideas concerning this topic but this one is my most interesting.
