after making a card called Mute, i thought about a game mechanic that can be more widely used than just one card. my idea for a name is junction. juntioning is basically a permanent or creature that requires you to target a card on the field upon play. when/if the junction card is destroyed, the effect it had on the target card is removed. these junction cards will have powerful effects, but at the cost of being vulnerable.
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

So it is like a "creature enchantment" of sorts (to quote a type of permanent from M:tG....)

i guess it can be called something like that. alright, how about i give a few possible examples of junction cards.

you know how in a few games, you can equip armor, talismans, and weapons to your character/units? this is the same basic principle.
like, there can be a junction card, lets say its a permanent, that protects the target creature from all sources of harm, like immortal creatures before the nerf. that junction card will be in the permanent field, and can be targeted by perm control. if that junction card is destroyed, the "invincibility" is striped from the targeted creature.
