Fleshing Out the Hybrids-Aer

Up till now we all have had our own take on what certain Hybrids represent. An example of this my view of (Essence) as something to do with spirits.
If anyone is up for this discussion feel free to do so. I think we should begin with the Hybrids then move our way down.

Starting with (Aer), what should this represent?

For Aer, since we are combining the energetic and untouchable Aether with the light and switft Air, it should have high damage potential, its creatures shall have low health but innate capability to avoid targeting (not much, 5-10%), as well as its permanents

EDIT: To clarify - are we just fleshing out background, or is this going to turn into a card design series?

Regardless of which, I'm of the opinion this should be split up into parts so that we're not overwhelmed with all 66 combinations. I think starting with the opposed Elements (Gravity/Entropy, Time/Aether, Death/Life, Light/Darkness, Air/Earth,Fire/Water) would be the easiest thing to do.

Aer to me seems like it would be represented by a gaseous arrow (or just invisible or not tangible): it's swift and shoots through like Air, and yet it is unstoppable through normal means, and I'd imagine it would shoot straight through its mark, leaving it behind.

Mechanic-wise, let's see..

Aether:
- Expensive
- Protection
- Spell damage [unique]
- Powerful

It's a rather tall element, and it's more of a "don't be in range while keeping them in range" through powerful cards. Most of its cards are actually just powerful themselves, with even cheaper utility cards being quite impactful (like Silence, SoW, and Lightning). And obviously, the more expensive cards are even stronger, like the infamous Dim Shield.

Air:
- Higher damage potential
- Evasion [unique]
- Swift

This element is more on the wide side, with plenty of creatures that are normally priced (if not a tiny bit cheap) to bring to the field. Rather combo-esque, with multiple "weaker" or cheaper cards getting up to the "stronger" cards (one example being Damselflies --> SoFr --> Wyrms --> Sky Blitz). Has a couple "boom" cards which are like Aether's powerful cardset, and then has multiple supporting cards for those specific booms.

Perhaps the mix could be:

Aer:
- Spell Damage
- Normally priced, if not a bit more expensive
- Evasion/Protection
- Fast, powerful cards (but not nearly as fast as Air nor as powerful as Aether)

EDIT: I agree with Z, splitting this up would be nice.

A good start here would be
1) List any hybrids that have already been developed thematically
2) List those which have not been developed.

As a side note, there are still a lot of card backs missing. I don't have the time I used to or there would be several I would love to make

Some themes have, at least in part, been examined for those hybrids that have a specific name (e.g. a name that is not just a mash up of half-blood titles).
Any of those that haven't been examined yet may be good places to start since a name can say a lot about a theme.
