So i was using the fallen elf card. I was looking at its ability costing 2 :life and i thought why dont we have duo cards. like cards that cost 2 :earth 3 :fire to play and so on or abilities that are like that. it would help for cool duo deck combos. and be cool for rainbow decks.

I feel that this is over complicating the game, and I don't see the benefits to it. The only argument you have is that it would help for cool duo and rainbow decks. However, we already have certain cards that only thrive in duo and rainbow decks (lycanthrope, chrysaora). Having cards cost, say, entropy and dark quanta would be confusing to new players.

I don't see a reason why not, doesn't really complicate the game in my opinion.

But, just to remind everyone, a similar effect is accomplished by having a card of one element have an ability that costs another element, such as;

lycanthrope
fallen elf
flesh spider
graviton fire eater
graboid
pulverizer
rustler
forest spirit
lava golem
chrysaora
toadfish
mind flayer
steam machine
trident
pegasus
firefly queen
unstable gas
anubis
sundial
scarab
devourer

to name all of them.

I don't really see the advantage of it, as others have said, it would make things a bit complicated and we wouldn't really get any benefit from it.

There are a few problems with it.

1) Currently the code for Casting Cost is a number and a string (IIRC) this makes it so any 2+ element casting costs would require a lot of recoding to work.

2) Almost all 2 element ideas can be made into creatures with off element Activation Costs.

3) Which element would they be filed under?

Based upon these problems, I think that the default should be to try to make the idea work without 2+ element costs.

Yes it can.  Rather easily.

It's optional costs that can't be done, like either 3 :fire or 3 :earth or any combination of the two.  A card like:
2 :air
Wind fish
As an additional cost to play wind fish, you must also play 2 :water, if you don't, you regain the card in your hand as well as the quanta paid to play it.

Could be done without any extra programming.

Slim8Stack has a card that i was thinking of exactly. something like that. I think we could just put another spot in the bazaar for duo cards or just add them into the lvl 3 ai's when they get made because we are trying to improve them. so just make them rares.

While that may be easy, Zanz said displaying the cost would require another column in your hand, which would require another ton of programming.

In short, Zanz personally said it won't be done. This has been suggested many times before.
