"Ultimate Cards" is just a crappy name that I created for cards that are extremely strong, but cost a ton of quanta or have major drawbacks.
IMO they are good for the game because they allow for exciting comebacks for games that seem lost.
Currently there are two cards that I would classify as "ultimate" on the game: Miracle and Shard of Sacrifice.
Also, they aren't limited to spells only. Maybe there could be a "Galaxy Eater" gravity creature that costs 20 :gravity and is 20|30.
I would like to know the community's opinion on this kind of card. Personally I think Elements needs a few more ultimate cards.

Fractal definitely qualifies too. Also Sky Blitz.
-
Chimera has a major drawback
-
I would also add Dissipation Shield. Drains tons of quanta, but can give you the time you need.

If you want to have 20 gravity quanta by turn 3-4, it's easily done.
4 eaters, 13 gravity pillars, 13 gravity pends, don. Turn 3.
Unupped, turn 4.
Elements simply doesn't have a limit to quanta production.
Magic, for example, has THOUSANDS of "ultimate cards" (we call them bombs.) because it has the ability to check when these bombs will come out.
20 | 30 card turn 3? No thank you.
Although, to be fair, that would be slightly UP, but whatever.

Frozen hasn't played vs a SoI deck I see. Point remains mostly valid

I haven't played against a GOOD SoI deck. I'll put it that way. Enlighten me.
But, I feel that no card should be able to singlehandedly win you the game.
