Yesterday I found something really exquisite. The day started so normally that I couldn't believe what I saw. After exhausting work dividing and searching for new species step by step looking at every centimeter of rain forest I was walking back to my lovely camp, well every time I woke up I had thousands of scorpion bites and camp stinked like mom's special baked beans after month, but it was my sweet stinking home. However back to my discovery. When I was just ahead the camp, I heard soft scratching, so subtle that even leaves couldn't be it. I concentrated on that strange sound, which echoed from every leaf, every branch, every water drop, total chaos. Still, it couldn't be far, so I started looking for the source of that sound, and when I thought that my daily hard work ended, after a solid time of ant work I identified the source. 4 leaves folded into house-like shape lying on the ground near my honestly beaten track, I removed leaf which could be considered as roof and scene which I observed was ridiculous, ridiculous I say. 20 Praying mantises prayed to archangel minature. At the first moment mantises didn't noticed me, because they were so inflamed into annoying god with their prayers mainly focused on abundance of bugs and the rest focused on killing all predators which hunted mantises. Suddenly the atmosphere changed, the "chrismantis" how I named them, noticed me. They stared at me with shocked eyes and some maybe even with heart attack. They started shouting and running like mad, but after short while unkown mantis stepped out wearing linen robe with weird necklace made from garlic cloves. This peculiar and perverted invidual began some ritual, awkwardly gesturing and pointing his --- oh well claw or hand? right into my face. At this moment I had enough of everything, praying mantises? Exorcist? Christiantity?
I slammed with the roof leaf and walked away.

Sorry, sorry, but I just couldn't stop myself from writing that story.
The praying concept is quite nice. Maybe there should be some percent chance like with card idea WISH and chances increasing and decreasing with enviroment (for example light emiting creatures would increase the chance

I think the mechanic could also be a stand alone spell card.
I am thinking whatever it will do it should be a positive affect.

My first thought is: skill or spell is activated, and at the beginning of the player's next turn an unknown positive affect happens.

Think of a card you want to have. The next draw may or may not be that card. If it is, then it was definitly because you prayed. If it wasnt, it just wasnt the Gods will for you to get it.

In all seriousness though...
If you want it to be a spell, "Your HP can not reach 0 for 1 turn." seems like it fits. Or "Do not attack this round. All Your creatures gain +1/+0". Or "None of your creatures attacks will miss this round" (final one seems a little specialized though.... mainly works for phase/fog/dusk shield so that they won't miss your opponent. Like a specialized 1 turn momentum for all of your creatures..." Or it could create a new creature..... "Target Angel becomes a Seraph" And "Target Archangel Becomes an Arch Serpaph". That would require a new monmster as well though.

Crap... I forgot that it had to relate to the image... I was just thinking along the mechanic of prayer....

Creature skill...
  -Generate A photon
  -Generate A Ray of Light

(yeah I know, the generating a rol concept is pretty overused. It really seems like it fits here though. Especially with the synergy it has with rustlers.)
 -Add one counter to (insert whatever the card will be named here) Once 3 counters are on Bless (if permanent, a random creature on your side of the field, and if a creature skill, this creature).
