Caretaker/ Warden series https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7334.msg79915#msg79915

I'm thinking about making anew series of cards that give a buff to another creature, they are all mono-color but obviously most would work will in non-mono decks

the buff would be lobotimizeable and only one buff from the series could be on at a time and they trigger when the creature dies

if you cast this buff on an opponents creature they get the benefit when it dies

here are my ideas for the different elements and stuff
:aether gives creatures on the same side of the field immortality till end of turn (hard to work with but could possibly negate RoF)
 :air IDK
 :darkness IDK
:death creature becomes a skeleton when dies, does not trigger death effects
 :earth destroys one pillar?
 :entropy IDK mutates target creature?
:fire deals 3 damage to what killed it or the opponent
:gravity destroys 1 of each quantum of opponent?
 :life controller gets 5 health
:light heals other creatures you control for 2 health?
 :time draw a card?
 :water IDK

If not I could just do a few elements as standalone cards

Seems similar to a nymph...many elements can already utilize these effects with spell cards...
Besides, is warden a human?
That's kind of against what elements is about...

they wouldn't have to be human in my opinion, they could be like spirit guardians with a shape for each element, like a bird for air or a fish for water

But they are kind of just weaker versions of the nymphs.

I mean for it too be similar to the nymphs but the buffs are kinda unique and would only trigger and death

and who cares if its a weaker version of the nymphs?

Nyphs are hard to get and weak, while these creatures could be tough but with smaller abilitys

Sounds good, as long as they don't represent humans.

they'd be like spirit armors mostly, maybe a skeleton for death and the like

Well... not really. I spot 4 abilities that are very similar to our current Nymphs.

By that logic, we should make a whole bunch of vampiric cards with different stats and costs and elements because they're just other versions of Vampires.

The point is, Nymphs are UNIQUE. Their abilities are solely for them and the Alchemy cards. Making these cards watered-down Nymphs is not only not creative, it's not going to help the game in any way.

I do like your "activated upon death" idea, though. If you want more abilities, you can find some inspiration here.

I've been meaning to make these cards, but I'm way too lazy to. ;) You can steal these ideas.
