We generally put Egyptian things with :time. We put Greek things in whatever is fitting. Q1. Have we looked at very many of the other areas of the ancient world? Then there are dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. Q2. Where would they fit in?

I would like to get better historical concepts from people that live in different parts of the world. I think if I try to do research for ideas I may have trouble finding accurate facts. It is in my opinion that people that live in different parts of the world can provide us with more accurate information.

Q3. Would people from different parts of our world be able to provide information on historical myths, legends and anything else that could help with card ideas?
If Nowhere is Somewhere, and Somewhere is Over there, How can we be Anywhere?

Definetly yes, but not me  :-[

I don't know too much about the myths or legends of the ancient inhabitants of South America (the Incas, and more, not so well known), but I think Mayan and Aztec myths can give you lots of ideas for cards. They're both known civilisations and have lots of gods and that stuff that can surely be of use. I would give you information about them, but it's better if someone that actually knows does it :D

Being the dinosaur-nut that I am, I've tried several times to come up with a Prehistoric series...my only problem is they come out as nothing more that dragons every time. I'm of the opinion that maybe 1 or 2 could slip by, but otherwise? I might avoid that category altogether.

I'd also like to point people toward Japanese and other Eastern legends. Also a good source of inspiration. The idea of Kami, for instance, lends some intrigue. For that matter, the whole Shinto practice is absolutely littered with fantastical ideas and wondrous creatures with strange abilities.

Hmm... the first things that come to head would be the Hydra, Earth. and the Minotaur, probably Earth too. let's see what else i can come up with:

Seer: Water
Footsoldier: Fire
Knight: Life/Darkness
King: Life

From Brazil, i also have a few things, but names will be a problem, since pronunciation changes considerably.

Boitatá: a kind of Fire Snake without a head.

Negrinho do Pastoreio: Give a wish.

I'll come up with more things later today.

Wait, the Hydra wasn't  :water?? I mean, even his name means water (Hydros, or something like that means water).

Other than that, sounds like useful ideas :D

EDIT: Hydra has been done 9001 times and Minotaur is the inspiration for one card currently in development, so IDK, you'll have to be creative if you wanna use that ideas.
