Immaterial/Immortal = Shroud.

immaterial creatures can die cuz of fireshield
immortals couldnt

but overall i agree with you
Immaterial creatures like Phase Dragon and Immortal can die by Fireshield.
Shrouded creatures can die by Breath of Darigaaz.

yes, cuz in mgt its a difference if an effect goes to "everything", wrath of god kills everything.... like god should if hes angry
False. MtG cares about the word "Target".
Compare Breath of Darigaaz to Kuldotha Flamefiend.
One kills shrouded creatures the other does not.

Rain of Fire acts like Kuldotha Flamefiend not like breath of Darigaaz.

i think he was naming cards utilized on deckout decks, where SoBr is used to speed up the deckout process by a few turns

If you have 6 cards in hand and you use SoBe, then your opponent will draw 1 card more than you. This is often enough to make them deck out before you. 6 SoBes can create a difference of 12 cards is played to deck the opponent out. So a 30 card deck with 6 Sobes can deck out a 42|41 card deck depending on if it went first|second.

While many mechanics can be stolen (Ball lightning, for an example: gatherer.wizards.com/pages/card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=191393 and even Silence) it is not okay just to argue (IMO) that "MTG has this; Why don't we?" because if not, our card list shall explode.
If done well, stealing mechanics is fine; if not, it's a wholesale ripoff.
Copying card mechanics is a very risky thing to do.
Group hug. It has become one word, grouphug, and we are pronouncing it groo-fug. Because there's a bloody pee aitch in the middle of it.

It is much less risky to attempt to copy the benefit added that a certain set of mechanics provided. This does take more skill to do competently though. The question "Would this be valuable to EtG?" is a question that needs to be asked of all such conversions.

Exactly. Especially since the flavour of the two games' gameplay is rather different.
