Alright kiddies, it's time for another massive project (yay!!!). Here we have a noobs guide for a duo between
Dark
and
Entropy
StrategiesThere are three basic strategies that work well for this combo, I'll list them in most common order.
1. Lycanthrope spam. Lycanthropes are 6|6 creatures for relatively low mana cost, despite being a duo element ability. Normal lycanthropes are 6|6 creatures for two entropy and two dark. Elite lycanthropes, called werewolves, are 6|6 creatures for two entropy and one dark. For this reason, the card can be used in a very effective way if you have the mana.
2. Quantum denial. The entropy weapon is the discord, which deals four damage and scrambles four quantums to a random element. It costs three entropy quantums to play. Once upgraded, it will do and extra two damage. This can be combined with devourers, which steal one random quantum and turn it into dark quantum. Devourers cost two dark quantums to play. It's a 0|2, but it upgrades to a 0|4 called Pest. It also has ability burrow, but that requires Earth mana that a Dark-Entropy deck wouldn't have. By combining these two, quantum denial can delay an enemy deck greatly. This is normally combined with either lycanthrope or vampire spam.
3. Vampire spam. This combo is the hardest to do as it requires an upgraded card to work. The only entropy card you'll need is chaos power, which will give you a random Health buff anywhere from 1- 5 and a random Attack buff anywhere from 0-4. It costs one entropy quantum to play. You'll use this on minor Vampire, which is a 2|2 vampire for three dark quantum, until it upgrades, becoming a 4|3 card called vampire that costs 5 dark quantums. Further adding to the combo you can use nightfall, a permanent that gives all dark creatures +1|+1 for three dark quantums. It upgrades to eclipse, which for four quantums gives all dark creatures +2|+1. Combining all of these upgraded, your best case scenario is a 11|9 creature with vampire, and your worst case is a 6|5 creature with vampire.
