Okay, so I thought, water deck with air mark and flying bows due to pufferfishes...sounds great!
But it isn't working as smooth as I hoped...I've been looking to put purify in there...and I'm wondering which is better, fog shield, or ice shield? I can't determine the optimal amount of pillars of pendulums either...looking for some help D:

Neat little deck you got there.  I'd try -6 water pillars, +1 toadfish, +2 water pendulum, +3 novas.

I actually find myself having excess air quanta and not being able to play short bow/flying weapon not because of cost, but because of the fact that another short bow/flying weapon was not in my hand. I'm not sure if novas would do any good. With 4 water pillars, toadfishes would be too slow to play D:

I'd say use Ice Shields, 1) because you're powering all Air usage with a mark and pendulums you may or may not draw, and 2) because Ice Shields are epic like that. Also, I don't like the title - Pufferfish and Toadfish are way too different to be interchangeable. It's like saying Nova when you mean SNova, or Fallen Druid instead of Elf...you get the idea.

QFT. I couldn't say it better myself. Another good example would be Guardian Angel instead of Archangel.

Alright, I get your point  :P
I technically find myself lacking air quanta in the beginning, but having too much of it in the end. Fog shield only costs 2 air. I don't know the optimal amount of pillars + pendulums for this deck...any suggestion?

infected arrows? (as deck name) for the deck itself, i would remove 2 more pillars for pendulums.

I recommend you give it a shot before casually dismissing the recommendation.  You currently have 10 water pillars and 3 water pends to play 5 toadfish.  QI = ???.  4 pillars, 6 pends, and 3 novas is probably more than enough to cover six toadfish.

I have no doubt you have no quanta issues when it comes to the bows.  I didn't recommend the novas to solve quanta issues; they're there to make you faster.  Because toadfish are the only "control cards" present, it meets the definition of a rush deck.  The ability to fly a bow turn one is big.  Btw, the fact this is a rush deck also favors fog over ice shield.

You may not find my recommendation an ideal fit.  But again, test it before judging.

Ummm...is getting an animated shortbow (4/4) really worth using up two cards rather than paying the same amount and one card to get a 3/3 Blue Crawler?
