Better to use mark of one element and pendulum of another. Its much better to balance that way.

With only one shard of patience, you won't be drawing it nearly enough to matter. The deck needs at least 2, preferably 3 or 4. 

Ice shield would be better then emerald. Can cut back on a lot more damage.
