Upgrade Order

Im not sure if this is the right place to put this, but it seemed like the most fitting.  What is a general rule of thumb for upgrading a rainbow deck?

I got my otys, and druids, and hourglasses upgraded. Ive been working on towers, but i also have some shards, so should i put a hold on the towers for the shards of gratitude? I think its those, its the ones that give 5 health each turn, or should I wait for my towers to be done first? I have 1/3 shards upgraded now.

if u use pulvy, upgrade it ASAP
if u r planning to use puppy's deck, upgrade the SoGs and permafrost shield first
after that, i would upgrade the pillars, they can make a big difference
then, i will upgrade cards that can cuts 2 quanta cost, like Rain of Fire and Bonewall
lastly, upgrade cards that doesnt help much after upgrading such as Bond, PA, quint and sundials
for myself, i like to upgrade phase shields after oty and hourglass, i think 5 quanta cost is a lot better
I never upgrade boneyard, but thats up to u.

How's that? I mean now the AI will still target it over bonewall...

Mmm....i hate it when i have 8 or 9 death quanta but cannot use bonewall + boneyard at the same time if they are both upped
3 cost is better, and i dont need skele's attack anyway

I agree here. I dont use my skellies for attacking anyways. I use them as extra creatures to mutate and health from feral bond. Aside from that i really dont have much use for them. Most shields the computer uses will block 2 damage anyways unless its a reflection shield.

So it seems SoG's would be first to upgrade over the towers then?
