Time-mark 'traditional' PSN-Godbow? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=16852.msg215604#msg215604
« on: December 03, 2010, 01:49:44 pm »
I saw a PSN Godbow here that relied on Neurotoxin for the win, but it was slow for my taste.  Playing it did get me to thinking, though -- a :timemark PSNBow really does mix and match well between the speed of SNovas and the drawing power of Hourglasses...maybe there's potential there?

You'd have to power everything else off of a limited amount of quanta, but that doesn't actually seem to be that difficult.  Use Pharaoh instead of FFQ for Druid fodder AND to replace the Otyugh, maybe?

I'm going to see what I can put together, but I thought making this an 'open source' project would be cool.  Also, if such a deck clearly already exists and I just haven't seen it, feel free to linky and shut me up. :D

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I like the pharaoh Idea but you will need more than a time mark to get it out, draw with hourglass, and use pharaohs ability, am I right?
If you play another element fairly heavy then think about 5 or so pendulums in the deck.
Also if such a deck dose exist no need to shut up, you can rebuild into a new version. I am sure there is more than enough room to change it and still make it be good.

You're forgetting the "P" part of the PSNBow, LongDono: the Pendulums. :)

This is just a random example, untested, but I think it's a decent starting point.

Ah yes your right, I was! lol
Looks good to me.
It should be fairly hard to kill with anti-matter and SoG, and then later on you have Scarabs that go om nom nom on everything.
The only issue I see if eternity is at the bottom, and the combo not going off right away.... Maybe add 1 other way to fuel fallen druid? I am not sure what though....

Would a couple of SoRs hurt the mix? I can see trouble in long games if you run out of quanta to fuel the druid/mutations.

SoRs might be good.  I'll try it both ways and see.

There's only one trouble - If you gonna use the scarab to replace the oty, it needs swarm. But aren't you gonna mutate them? Oty is better in that case. A oty, and aflatoxins. But then, there is the need of QP's.

The scarab eats other scarabs, then starts eating the enemy. I agree that it is slow though.

Then why not take out pharaoh, add one Scarab (sole scarab) and use Heavy armors on him? A 31 card deck with 3 hourglasses isn't any bigger. But where do you get enough quanta to EAT? With 6 SN, you get 12 of each element, but it goes away. I'd say 3-6 QT's are worth putting in.

Interesting idea. I'm on it.

I used unupped otys + armors in my first attempt to an FG-bow. They work neatly, but they make you more vulnerable to crappy draws, and you'll need more draw power.

Im thinking something like this:
Code: [Select]
5c1 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rq 6rq 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u7 6u7 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 6ve 7k0 7n2 7n2 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q8 7q8 80h 80hNeeds more damage methinks. The Supernovas are more to feed shards and animates, but they are used for a few other cards too.
