-Sundials don't use time quantum
-It takes 6-7 turns to get the quantum for the dragons
-What if the opponent counters the dragons the turn after they are played? You're screwed.

Sundials don't slow the deck down in any way, in fact they speed it up by effectively reducing the deck size so long as you're using their effect.
