A really fun deck.  The basic damage comes from the massive amounts of three hits, which only diamond shield can stop.  Gravity pillars are actually optional, because once you get such a massive amount of devour, the intimidation is all the creature control you need.  Switching to mark of gravity and giving time more pillars is something you can try.  Swapping out quintessence for precog or weapons or shields is also a good idea.  With these edits you get this:

Both decks work well and are really fun to play, and when they work you get this beauty.

Yep, I tried this deck in the trainer yesterday. It is hilariously awesome. :) Rediscovering the awesomeness of Scarabs.

I used the second deck you posted, sans the Anubii, the Eternity, and the Turtle Shield in favor of more :time towers.

Yea.  The bottom deck is faster, but the top deck is the one you want if it's going to be a long game.  I really want to see two scarab based decks fight each other xD
