Rainbow mutation for fun-cant get work properly https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=28517.msg364405#msg364405

First of, this is not my first deck, i have a few ai3 grind decks  and some for specefic FGs(thanks to the FG section of this forum). Unforetenuly, AI3 grind decks are boring to play, so i wanted to make more funny deck for AI grinding and for playing with my friends. So i choose mutation. In addition, i made it rainbow, to make sure i can use the mutants abilities.(some first test made me cry for not being able to use some stuff like steal and mitosis...)

After some testing i got this:

Code: [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vm 4vm 4vm 4vq 4vq 52n 52n 52n 52n 52r 52r 5c6 5c6 5lm 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5up 5up 61t 61t 621 621
Basic Idea-get out a fallen elf, a Boneyard and a cat for some mutation action.Precocs decrase the chance of a bad starting hand+a way to determine when i should play which card.
I also added some other support cards to use all the quantom i produce.

Main problems:
i run out of :entropy to fast.
If i change my mark to :entropy, i run out of  :time and cant draw cards... :'(

Currently can only beat AI2 with a acceptable win percentage..

if it is just for fun, then you shouldnt try to make it very competitive, but since you have 10 empty spots to fill, you could add in 4 entropy pillars for your 2 cats and 6 time pillars for your 3 hourglasses

One option could be to take out some of your Quantum Pillars and replace them with Entropy Pendulums.

I changed it to this:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vm 4vm 4vm 4vq 4vq 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 52n 52n 52n 52r 52r 55r 560 592 5c6 5lm 5oj 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5up 5up 61t 61t 621 621 8ps

:entropy :time are now both fine

i still think its improveable,so

1.Are the novas good/neccesary? Currently im only happy bout them wehn i draw them VERY early

2.Is the pillar/nonpillar ratio ok?

3,should i try sundials aswell?i did not had enough  :electrum for them

4,what should i upgade first?

5.which weapon should i use? Im thinking of eterny, but dont have it :'(

6.I just got a grey nymph from the oracle, can i use her in that deck?

7.is the size ok? or should i trim/expand it it a bit?

You dont need precognition. Add CC like rain of fire to fuel your bone. Neither do you need chimera at all.

However since its for fun you can do whatever you like.

I would suggest druids and hourglasses for your first upgrades.

You've turned to the right place if you were looking for fun.  Mutations are so entertaining there isn't much else to say.  I really like your direction, but I think you can really simplify you deck to have not only fun, but also success.  Turning a mutation deck into a timebow is very inefficient and it requires a lot of combos to work right.  If you ever wanted to use it in a PvP setting with friends chances are you'd get stomped long before you set it up.  I like the idea of using Quantum Pillars to generate quanta for mutants, and they eliminate the need for using Nova.  Now it's just a matter of trimming off the fat to make it a deck capable of farming AI3 but also competitive in PvP.  I came up with this:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vm 4vm 4vm 4vm 4vm 4vm 5f6 5f6 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5l9 5og 5og 5ur 61p 61p 61p 61q 61q 8pj

Focusing more on speed I found I was winning far more consistently against the AI than with the other version.  Just enough pillars to fuel everything with a little PC and CC mixed in to help offset slow starts.  A couple good mutations will get you wins in as little as 6 or 7 turns.  With the deck capable of moving that quickly you don't need all the extra cards from the original version, and the stiletto provides just enough healing to help.  As you can see, Novas aren't necessary, but if you really wanted to you could swap them in for pillars.  I think it runs a little better without them however.  I think I touched on all your questions, but if I missed something let me know.  Take this out for a spin, I think you won't be disappointed. :)
Carpe Diem!!
