golden nymph, shard of readiness, and nightmare have a nice synergy. throw in an eternity and you can mostly lock someone out of the game. this greatly depends on you having several (ideally 5 or 6) nymphs. nightmare in particular is always a consideration against AI due to it wasting several of their draws, denying access to cards they may need, and countering fractal and shard of bravery strategies.
ghostmare (ghost of the past + nightmare) is good synergy, but an AI may wiggle its way out (or rush you faster) if you face the ones with extra quantum and card bonuses. also, sanctuary exists. a ghostmare would usually use pest, and pest doesnt like sanctuary either. steals help but often a deck with things to steal are also full of permanent control too.
a deck thats more darkness-based attack and time utility would rely on rewind as the only unique thing darkness didnt already have. vampires and pests and dragons with eclipse is a solid thing to do, but rewind isnt really addressing the things that counter that. time is probably not the best secondary color considering current alternative strategies and options.
