Scarabs are actually better done with Fractal than with Mummy.
Try Grav mark, 8x Aether Pillars, 5xFractal, 6x Scarab, 2x Procrastination, 4x Time Pendulum, and the rest Time Factories. 
I suggest -2 time pendulum +2 aether pendulum -2 aether pillar +2 time factory
there's nothing worse in a fractal scarab deck than .5/turn

production (except 0/turn

production), since your only source of damage is the scarab
on a more personal note, I prefer to take advantage of the trio- something like this:

blanks are: 1X chimera (just for fun, although scarab chimeras are fun), 2X time pendulum, and 2X aether pendulum
momentums really help if you have something just out of eating range, or if the opponent has a nasty shield
eternities can save your scarabs and get rid of nasty creatures, and
lobotomizer gets rid of freeze/lobotomize/etc.
black holes are for healling and possibly quanta denial,
shields are obvious, and
hourglasses do their usual job

I do have several versions of it- one including dune scorps and anubis, but I find this one most reliable
I also have a mummy deck, but it's more of a fun deck and still needs some balancing...

blanks are 7X death pendulum and 4X gravity pendulum
scarabs are just in case,
otyugh is for more stable eating,
bonewall/
boneyard are obvious,
vulture is fodder or to double the gain from eating
arsenic is for the weapon slot (don't have any
eternities yet for this one),
nova is quick quanta/combo with
sundial, and a placeholder for when I get eternities
reverse times for the
mummies or an emergency, and
hourglasses for faster drawing
of course, I find these more fun than a bland rush, so this should be taken with a grain of salt
