I only play this game casually, a few games every day, and after trying a few unupgraded rainbow deck versions, I finally managed to get my oty upgraded.
I seem to have terrible luck against fake gods with all of those version, even when I pick my fights, and barely ever win cards from spins.
So now, I want to make a rainbow that is solid against half bloods, but would also have a decent shot against the fake gods. If I'm going to have crappy luck on spins, then at least I want to get a few spins each day from those limited number of games I play.
So I came up with this deck idea:
An anubis for more quints on my creatures, and 2 quints to help start with an immortal anubis. The deck became too heavy on time though, so I replaced two quantum pillars with time factories, just to increase the chance for time quanta early on (which seems to have helped).
I want to cycle through my deck as quickly as possible, stalling my opponent as much as I can while I gather the quanta I need, and survive with aflatoxin+feral bonds while a protected eternity send a cell back to my deck when needed.
With anubis in play, I could quint a cell or two, to guarantee a multitude of them at all times. The FFQ is there for backup, in case my cell gets destroyed before I get the chance to protect it.
My oty and golem will be the heavy hitters, the elf will produce some more useful creatures, and the boneyard is another safety net to keep my field of monsters as large as possible.
This sounds nice in theory, but I feel like this deck is still too slow (compared to my previous rainbow), especially the death part in it, and I have no safety net to survive if my opponent has a few strong monsters in play while I still have to build up. I considered adding a miracle for that, since I don't use the white quanta now, but I really want to keep my deck at 40 cards. My mind flayer seems to be the only actually replaceable card in there, so I might consider switching it for a miracle. But then, I'll lose the option to add back in that extra quantum pillar or two, and my death part would still be slow. Also, this deck is kind of weak on the defensive side, with only one shield, but I'm trying to keep this deck as small as possible.
What would you remove and/or add to make this deck faster? Should I really stay on the more reliable 40 cards, or just add a few (5?) more cards? I've already decided I wasn't going to add bone pillars, since I'm not going to be using it save those three cards.
Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your time. I'd figure something out myself in the trainer, but unfortunately that would only cost me more time that I don't really have.
