Hi! This is the first deck I've posted so here's what I got.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ih 5ih 5ih 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5v1 5v1 5v1 5v1 5v1 5v1 8pt

The whole point of this deck is to wait for the opponent to play out a monster (Make  sure you first have a flooding first.) then nightmare it, when they play enough of it they drown, then your earning health for nightmaring, and the minor vampires are for dmg because you cant drain all of the opponents HP first, and i was gonna add a vampire stelleto for the weapon but i just barely made up this deck.

Weaknesses: Immaterial creatures, u cant nightmare them.

Any suggestions on how to improve this deck?

Seems like you are making a lot of extra quanta for your need.  And also the dmg dealt is low.  What is this deck designed for? AI3, PVP?

I think you need to pick whether you want to do some nightmare play or some flooding based play and add in more damage dealers from there.

I recommend just playing Nightmare off the mark.

Damage seems way too low - suppose the opponent's first creature is a phoenix. You aren't going to be able to deal 35 damage a turn no matter what. I'd replace a couple of water towers with Blue Crawlers or Toadfish.

Here's my revision.

Um, initially I thought it was pretty cool idea because usually with Nightmare their hand gets full of the cards you gave them and you won't get as much health with subsequent Nightmares. The combo with Flooding seemed like a good idea to heal you more as well as drain quanta from them. The thing is that creatures attack before they drown, kind of canceling the health gain. Well you still get more damage and the draw denial, but I'm not really feeling it. A Mono Time with RTs and Ghosts could do everything this deck can but better. I don't really see this working too well unless you can fit a Bonewall in there somewhere.

I enjoy the aesthetics of the deck, though.

Flooding, vampires and nightmare? I've never heard that combo and it doesn't seem that great. (6 minor vampires are really fragile if that's the only creatures you have). Contrary's version looks good. It's mostly water, so it packs in great damage, flooding, and then you can run nightmare off of your mark.

***TRIALS RESPONSE***

Your first deck seems like it could use a lot of tweaking indeed, you basically only need to generate 1 water quanta per turn to maintain Flooding, meaning you could remove all Water Pillars and change the mark to Water. If you then only have Darkness pillars for your quanta apart from that you just need to play Flooding when you have 4 Water quanta (not 3, since the upkeep usually comes before your Mark generates quanta). I like the idea of Draining your opponents' health, but I don't think Vampires are very suitable for this, their damage is lacking and is easily stopped or destroyed. Instead, I would recommend Drain Lifes with Dusk Mantle and Vampire Stiletto to keep yourself alive. You could even use Drain Lifes to get rid of annoying creatures like Steam Machines that build up too much damage. Sum it all up and you basically get a deck like this (see below).

I tried it out and it's really fun to see the ai play all those creatures from Nightmare even though they will instantly drown, works pretty well, but I don't think it's suitable for pvp. Human players are less likely to just throw their hand empty and let you drown them and Nightmare them all over again ;)
