Rainbow Scarab, please :D https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=1039.msg9672#msg9672

good day. I'm recently trying to build a deck themed around the charismatic Scarabs,
but had little success in employing them efficiently. I've as well cruised this very forum and the Wiki
but had not found anything to suit my taste and criteria for efficiency.

if you'd like to help me design it out, I'd like to point out some guidelines;
- It has to be Rainbow, but the Mark is free of choice.
- Any number of cards is fine as long as it works.
- Should be able to deal with threats Level3 and above (but not necessarily Fake Gods) with 70-80% success.
- Rushing or slow building deck are both fine, as long as the upper criteria is satisfied.
- Scarabs ARE the theme.

the last one concerns Scarab decks that are basically "carried" by bigger and stronger creatures to do the job.
that's of course unacceptable since Scarabs are here to do the entire job - and not as comical sidekicks.

so, if you'd love to help me out in making a proper Scarab deck, I'd be grateful for any input or advice. :D

as I've said in my post, I've already tried whatever scarab-themed deck I found here and on the Wiki and tested it.
your deck is very good, although I think it could be improved. do you have any alternative builds for it?
I've tried my own variation of your deck down to 35 cards, with blessings, pulverizers, supernovas and such.
to increase the aggressiveness and it worked fine, but I think it can still be improved.

I built my deck around the theme of Scarabs, which is the reason why I didn't take any other creatures and not even weapons.

Why did you take Blessing? Sundials already use light quantum. Chaos Power would be better imo.

If I had to take a weapon, I would definitely take Eagle's Eye, not Pulverizer.

it's just 1 Blessing that is used before the Twin Universes hit. 2 Heavy Armors are used as well.
Chaos Power is too unstable and just not rewarding enough. (although extremely fun)

Pulverizers are there especially for taking out Rainbows, which this deck I got is currently good at. (top50 bashing)

it does not seem to work that well on PVP, though, which is my main issue here.

Just curious, why does it have to be Rainbow?

It's difficult to use Scarabs effectively without going rainbow mainly because Scarabs themselves use 2 elements.

Twin Universe, Bone Wall, Feral Bond, Heavy Armor.. all those are very important. If you tried to go with trio-deck, you have to have Time and Gravity (for Scarabs) but you could only have one other element. That means you have to give up on a lot of stuff which makes your Scarab deck too one-dimensional.

I'm not saying it's impossible but when I made my Scarab deck I tried all kinds of different versions and rainbow was by far the best one.

I was thinking of reducing the numbers of Scarab in favor of putting in more buffs and parallel's...
or in other means focusing more on getting a super-Scarab out and copying it mercilessly. D:<

Not a bad idea actually. I've always thought you need 6 but maybe you don't?

If you're going to focus on producing a single awesome devourering creature, why not just use an Otyugh?

Because Otyughs don't become HUGE after you Twin Universe them. Scarabs do.

Also Scarabs are cooler.
