Lol  :))
I'm not sure why you are taking my opinion as a joke, since I was being completely serious and correct as well.
This actually offends me, since I think I have more competitive PvP experience than you.

I've noticed that most competitive decks have denial, or CC. Against denial, nymphs are completely ineffective. Having 12 quanta of one Element is usually not going to happen. If it somehow does, it will be too late to make a difference. The nymph will end up being a dead and wasted card that is using up a spot a better card could instead take. Against CC, most nymphs will also be weak. Have you noticed that it costs 9 quanta for a purple, blue, or amber nymph (commonly believed to be the strongest), but only 2 to kill it? Overall, by putting the nymph in your deck, you will be wasting a large amount of quanta. It would be better to be kept out of your deck. If you use a combo with quintessence or SoR, you will just be even weaker to rush. Did I mention that the common nymphs also do very little against stalls, such as firestall?

My first nymph was an amber nymph. I got it about a year ago. I haven't used it since I was a newb that didn't know any better.

There is almost always going to be something in a deck that makes the nymph you have next to worthless.

In the future, at least think about my opinion before laughing at it.
Somehow still around, somewhat

My first 2 nymphs were gravity as well. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,21083.msg287610#msg287610 I found that by the time you got the quanta to play and use the nymph, the match is already over unless you are playing FG's or AI5. If you are doing PvP1 AI3 or t50 then just stick to the normal discord black hole. as they are much more efficient. Against AI5 and FG's there is usually too much creature control so Quints are a must. A trio with gravity nymphs quints and discord might be possible. but Trios are normally slow and when you have a trio including nymphs, it takes even longer to set up.

Even a deck with nymph tears is better than using the nymphs themselves.

As someone who packs 3 Amber Nymphs myself, I have to call shenanigans here.  Amber Nymphs are not "most nymphs".  I can't tell you how many lockdowns I've gotten with a fairly simple deck that packs Pulvy, EQs, Black Holes, and Nymphs -- the trick is to load up hard on the quanta, EQ them so that they have less pillars than you have Nymphs/Black HOles, and then Black Hole them down to zero quanta before you play the Nymphs.  Keep them at zero quanta, and lo! and behold!  Amber Nymphs are the best to have against a high-CC deck if you set up the denial right.

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Ill post 2 decks here, because i dont know exactly what you are looking for, ill post an unupped one and an upped one.
Here is the unupped one first
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vd 4vd 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 55l 55l 55l 55l 55v 55v 55v 55v 568 568 8pl

First off, this is quite possibly my favorite type of deck, a denial deck. I love pestals, Disco/BH decks, Pest/EQ decks, and the like. I love the fact that you make it almost impossible for your opponent to play any cards. This deck does that and more. you can usually get out a turn 2 discord, and a turn 6ish nymph. but if you opponent has the quanta early on, you can just play a black hole to keep that from happening. Maxwells are also a great addition to this deck, helping use up some of your entropy quanta later on, while also being valuable CC. The antimatters are also very nice in this deck, they help out even more with CC if you opponent by some miracle gets a creature out. but you can easily swap them out for abominations, that works for more damage. The chargers are also nice in the deck, just in case a mono aether gets a lucky phase shield on you, charger just says TL;DR.

The upped deck

the main difference between the two decks are that this one is upgraded.
There are no maxwells, because otyughs are great CC, and they can turn into a good attacker if needed.
there are also a few CPs in here, and that is to help you oty become big enough to eat something, or to power up your charger.
