The two blank cards are one Aether Pendulum and one Gravity Pendulum (both unupgraded).
Hello all. I've been playing for a little while now, but am grinding against the Level 5s and I seem to be losing a lot more than I'm winning, even though a little while ago I was actually doing pretty well. So I thought I'd come along to the forums and see if anyone can help me.
The general strategy is to get an Otyugh out and Quintessence it on the same turn. That gives me some measure of creature control, as well as a way to get the Bone Wall built up. Quintessing the Anubis also allows me to protect the other creatures in the deck. Between the Queen and the Graveyard I can generate plenty of creatures to either fuel the Oty/Bonewall combo as well as provide fodder for the Druid to Mutate into decent things. The Eternity (and Enchant Artefact to keep it safe) are to prevent decking out.
Generally, I lose because I either don't generate enough Quanta (usually from lack of Pillars in play or from enemy quanta denial) or because I don't get the Oty/Quint out quickly enough to overcome the opponent's creature strategy (whether from lack of quanta or from not having them in my hand).
The first problem I attempted to overcome by adding the Pendulums; often I'd have trouble with not being able to get the Oty out, the Quintessence to protect it, and sometimes I even ran out of Time quanta to use with the Eternity which would lead to me decking out. Even so, I didn't want to remove too many Pillars as I felt that would lead to quanta stagnation in the other elements.
Whilst I am aware of QI, I am uncertain as to how to calculate it with regard to ongoing effects (I.e. how does one take into account the quanta usage for creatures with usable powers?). A link to such a guide would be appreciated.
Any and all help would be appreciated with this, as it is starting to get very frustrating to lose around 4 games out of 5, and I really don't fancy dropping back down to L3 to grind, again.
