Is a 32 card deck recommended for all levels?

I can make a descent 32 card  mono deck for level 3.
I can't seem to get a Duo deck figured out.
nothing upped yet.

thanks

My best deck? I think maybe it needs some permanent control.
Code: [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61r 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 80e
Upped Lobot. since then

a 32 card is not recommended at all for anything
the key to deck size is on the cards you have

a 30 card deck should be quick, usually mono (duo is also used here) and deals lots of damage quick
whereas a 60 card deck will have more combinations of elements and cards, usually containing various sources of drawing extra cards (hourglasses, sundials, precognation) as you can cycle the deck quicker as well as having more cards you want/need. also they usually include more spells and permanants for control.

30 cards can ofter 'deck-out' by running out of cards, whereas 60 card deck rarely deckout, this is also due to the fact you can use 'Eternity' to reverse time your own cards and therefore never run out...

If you want to test/try new decks there are loads and loads of them here is the forums:
here is the link to the duo/trio decks area:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,3.0.html

Using the mono-aether deck (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,3154.0.html) you can grind AI3 with ease... it also has a great chance of winning again AI5s - Half-Bloods - too. It is also excellent at farming the top50 AI4s! farming t50 allows you to win super rare cards to improve all your deck

This mono deck is cheap to build and require very little skill, it takes a few matches to learn how to play and once you start farming top50 you can upgraded some of the cards and/or add in rares you have won -- I would advise adding in 2 lobotomisers if you win them and also upgraded shards are really handy....

~~EDIT~~
I see you are already using this >_< DOH!
and you also updated the first post too

I would leave out the lightnings as they serve little purpose, as you are only able to destroy 1-2 creatures...
also PU is not needed... is it worth copying 1 creature from your enemy for that amount of quanta...?
try and add another lobo in there...
also 6 shields is a must!!! 18 turns untouched is sooo much better
also you could do with more pillars -- and also possbily some shards (if you have and have cash to upgrade)

I would say -2 lightning  -1 PU
+1 lobo  +2 SoG (minimum optional) +1 dim shield +3 pillars and might as well got +1 immortal too
that is then:                                  My Deck for top50 and AI5
15 pillars                                       15 pillars
6 immortal                                     5 immortal
6 dragons                                      4 dragons
2 lobo                                            2 lobo
6 dim shield                                   6 dim shield
2 SoG                                            2 SoG
---------------                                  ----------------
37 cards                                       34 cards

wow nice rush deck thanks.
I have to win shards, right?

Code: [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61s 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 80e
I shoud up all pillers next right then imorts. then dragons. right?

yes shards have to be won -- from Top50
Shard farms I know of at this current moment (recorded thorught the day by me) are:
Infernet89 - has Shards of Gratitude (SoG) (green)  --- easy to win with the deck I posted (my one) as you put shields up and it stops all damage (he ii using pharaoh and eternity) and lobotomize his pharaohs if you get lobo out fast -- easy win 8/10

UnionRuler - Has SoGs --- CAUTION - you will most likely lose to this deck (win % is about 1 in 7 times) as he is Ray of Light/Fractal and Hope deck (you cannot damage or stop the shield with this deck) - however 1 Rain of Fire would clear the board but that means a complete new deck >_< -- DO NOT ATTEMPT with this deck

clp -- Has SoGs AND Shards of Divinity (SoD) (blue) --- CAUTION - I lose often to this deck as it is 60 cards and I often deck out due to him having 6 miracles (with ~250+ life due to shards and other stuff) -- I have won about 2 (of 6) battles but It's not worth trying with this deck.... However he seems to be one of about 3 people with a SoD farm annoyingly >_<

Time_Master -- Has SoGs and SoDs -- again is a pharoah deck and easy to beat - however he does pack Exlosions and can destroy your shields and/or weapons (even pillars) if you are unlucky :/ -- Easy win 9/10 (another SoD farm - I'm just VERY unlucky with the spins :( )

Jacada -- Has SoGs --- 100% WIN RATE -- doesn't fight back - mastery everytime for 60 coins!

Anti-Lord -- Has SoGs -- however also has lots of owl's eyes/eagle's eye and flying weapons so he fights back (7 damage a weapon) -- 50/50 chance to win - depends on draws- Shield will stop in his tracks and immaterial means he can't hit your creatures with snipe -- need shields and creatures fast to beat this one... (6/10)

that's all I'm certain of atm - there are most likely more and I'm sure of it -- i've just forgotten and haven't got it written down...
hope they help :D

about upgrading - I would go with pillars but only AFTER you have about 2 SoGs there --- they greatly help with survival when healing 5  a go each  -- also helps on masteries!!
upgrade order:
2 SoGs (more if you want but not necessary)
at least 10 pillars (try and do all)
then  either shields or dragons --- shields allow to play earlier which is awesome - but dragons will do 2 more dmage - very handy and worth the extra 1 to play as you always get them quite late anyway and also I haven't seen a single gravity shield in top50 yet
I woould leave immortals till last as they are cheap atm which is the good reason to have more of them than dragons -- leave them till last so they stay at 6 to play instead of 7 -- the only change is +1 attack and that isn't worth it at the start in my opinion

of course it depends on whether or not you want to farm top50 for rares to have/sell (i have about 9 lobotomizers now >_<) and win coins easy with easy farm masteries --- or start to farm Half-Bloods for upgraded cards and more cash - you call....

hope this helps!! :D

I beat CLP with a deck consisting of 6 SoG, 6 nymph's tears, 18 quantum pillars, and mark of water. Once I quintessed all my nymphs with the aether nymph, my air nymph piled up unstable gasses untiL i ended him in one turn :D

My least favorite Top50 decks to verse are CLP's healthy deck and the pharaoh deck, though the latter is completely pwnable with an electrocuter or gravity shield (the later of which is halarious. I played a 30-card deck based around cards that can single-handedly counter decks, and rewound a photon until he decked out. I nymph teared a couple of his time towers, so he drew too much ^_^
