(I don't exactly know what the question mark card is, or how it got there, there are only thirty cards in this version of the deck)

I've been playing around with the idea of using an earth mark to

A)Burrow my devourers, and possibly

B) Add two Enchant artifacts, so that the deck looks like this

In order to protect my Eclipses/Dusk Mantle/ Vampire Dagger, however, I am afraid that this will slow down my quanta generation.

Do the Pro's of adding the earth mark outweigh the Cons?

Question mark is the mark code.
I personally don't think making the mark Earth to burrow Devourers is worth the cost for a less consistent flow of Darkness quanta.

This is partially because you might even want your opponent to target them with creature control, so they no longer have it when your Vampires and Dragons appear. Only problem with un-burrowed Devourers are cards like Rain of Fire, which will hit them along with the other creatures regardless.

If I play devourers along with a earth mark, then I add a couple of earthquakes in the soup. It gives a nice denial effect with un-killable devourer. Alone the devourer are not efficient enough to shut a rainbow player down but with 3-4 quicksand it might. In this case only it worse to slow yourself down (producing less dark quanta) - just in order to slow your opponent even more.

Both TheOnlyRealBeef and SnoWeb are correct. If you're just going to bury your devourers, then the earth mark is most likely not worth it. It will most likely slow you down and not provide much benefit in the long run if your devs are buried or not. But if you decide to include earthquakes, then burying your devs will most likely become a worthwhile investment since they will be able to drain the quanta that your earthquakes were not able to stop from generating.

If you want to go the Earthquake route, a basic deck like this would be perfectly good:

Basic darkness and earth duo, all your darkness creatures get added protection. Devs get to burrow, and your gargoyles are buffed by 20hp. Not so frail now are they? xD

But if you want to stay mono darkness, you're looking pretty good  :). I may cut out a few dragons once its fully upped, resulting in something like this:

More vampires allows for the slower start that pests create :)
