Mono Entropy:

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vd 4vd 4vd 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vp 4vp 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u ??? = Entropy Pendulums

Quite simple, I'm testing it currently in ai3 to tweak it to my liking, I'll try pvping with it tonight probly.

9 Amethyst Pillars - you need a lot of quanta for this deck to work, this (15 including pendulums)  seems about right.
3 Maxwell's Demons - CC, works well with chaos seed and pandemonium.  Also a little damage, not much though.
4 Purple Dragons - Your damage.  10/5 for 10 quanta is pretty nice when half of your deck is pillars.
4 Dissipation Shields - I know, your yelling at your computer "take 1-2 of those out@@@!@@!!", but the fact is, with 4 shields you have approx. a 66% chance of having one in your first 6 cards.  And with the amount of pillars in this deck, you'll be able to play a shield second or third turn, stopping your opponent's offense in its tracks.  Also having 4 stops PC-heavy decks
2 Chaos Power - Light CC, great for weakening a foe and then using maxwell.
1 Discord - I might add another, but all my other Discords are upgraded :(.  If you get it out quick, its devastating to mono/duo.
2 Pandemonium - for those mass-little-critters decks, its probably not going to kill your dragons, and it might even PU one of your dragons, so all in all its a good choice.  Also works very well in conjunction with Maxwell's Demon.
6 Entropy Pendulums - They're pillars, just more resistant to quicksand.

Any tips/comments/hate will be appreciated, maybe not the hate though.
Also, my bad if I stole your idea/prettymuch copied your deck, it wasn't intentional.  I'm not the first person to try a mono-entropy after all.

WHY DO PEOPLE USE PENDULUMS OF THE SAME MARK!?! Excuse me, I'm better than that... it's just that I find it pointless that people separate their pillars half into pendulums! It doesn't do you much of any good because in the long run its cheaper AND doesn't offer much protection. Minus 3 pendulums is the same as minus three pillars so why bother? Just buy some more pillars and sell the pendulums!

The seperation into pendulums and offers gives protection. If you have e.g. 1 pendulum and 2 pillars on the field, an earthquake can only destroy 2 pillars.

Why should genraenera buy or sell pillars /pendulums ? Many people have enough pillars/pendulums in all colors. The few electrums would make no difference anyway.

Because it just about halves the damage for quicksand and is a good idea to do in any mono-deck, just like teffy said if you have 1 pillar out and 2 pendulums he'll need to use 2 quicksands to get rid of the quanta generation rather than just one and save the other for later.

You're calling the Chaos Seeds Chaos Power there.
Now then, I always recommend Antimatter in a PvP deck. I wish I wouldn't, because damn is it annoying, but I can't deny its effectiveness. Much harder to get rid of than a Dissipation Shield to boot.

Only problem with that theory is this is probably the one shield you DON'T want to have out early a lot of times since all it will do is drain most/all of your quanta and prevent you from playing much else.  I'd say take out 2-3 shields and replace them with antimatter, use those antimatters on their largest creatures which should offset the damage from the smaller ones, and save the remaining shield(s) for later in the game when you've played most of your spells already and have plenty of leftover quanta.
