I decided to make an Aether based rush, and here it is. The problem with it is that it gets dead hands too often (for my liking). Is there any way to get it off to a better first/second turn start? I'd like to use it to farm arena, if I can.

Also need to think of a good name for it.

Hrm, I don't like the current version much.

Consider a PSN quantabase or a duo. There are a number of good deja vu/scarab buff decks centered on TU. Also a few ruby dragon decks with TUs.

Well, it works much better with -2 aether towers + 2 aether pends. and even better with +3 quantum pillars.
Now that that problem's solved, on to the next: Drawing power
With the quantum towers added, are hourglasses worth putting in? Take the precogs out?

Precogs only reduce the effective deck size meaning if you use 2 precogs in a 32 card deck, it is essentially a 30 card deck at the cost of 2 time quanta.  If you are going to run that last posted mod, I would recommend -2 precog.

On another note you are wondering how to speed things up, I would recommend the same thing Rember and furballdn are recommending use upped entropy pends and aether mark, it allows for much faster start over your current build. so -4 aether pends -3 QT and +6 Entropy pends

Lastly you seem to be very high on darkness quanta with both steal and vampire maybe switch one of them to a shield of some other element
