Help with Anti- Fake God Time/Rainbow https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=18422.msg234304#msg234304

I was trying to make a half time half rainbow deck to fight fake gods, but it seems to be going too slow, and I'm not sure what shield to use. The upgraded cards are ones I already have from my CCYB or wanted to buy first if I made this deck out of the trainer.

I think my main problem is that the deck is too slow, by the time I get anything out the opponent has already almost killed me.

I honestly don't know how a deck like this will fare; your best chance would be to take novas to play those low cost cards from other elements rather than towers.
I honestly think that a full fledged time-bow or a mono-time would work much better.

But keeping with the idea,
-4 quantum tower
These aren't very useful because they're so varied; you won't get the quanta you need with these.
-2 crusader
Too much :light used. Sundials need it (1 :light each), and crusaders, in total, need 8 :light . 22 :light is too much for a rainbow deck that doesn't have that independently powered by something else.
+5 nova
You only need short bursts of quanta to power a lot of the :rainbow cards (Enchant Artifact, Fog Shield, Condor). Nova will work better than quantum tower in this case.
+2 hourglass
If you have a deck with more than 30-33 cards, you normally need hourglasses; you know this. But 3 hourglasses is generally too little for a 43 card deck. Add some more.

Before I continue, I think you might have to decide between pharaohs and anubis. They both use different types of quanta (pharaoh, by extension, scarab, uses :gravity ; anubis uses :aether ).
-2 anubis/pharaoh*
You only need one anubis/pharaoh to get the combo going, and having both really diverts your quanta. I'll try to map out both possibilities, and you can decide what you'd like to do.

Anubis
+2 quintessence
This way, you don't have to wait 1 turn to get your anubis quinted.
+3 silurian dragon
Big damage; what you said you were missing.
+4 aether pendulums
If you're running a duo with rainbow splashed, you need your quanta.
Replace 4 time pillars with these.
-2 Condor
You're not devouring creatures; condors won't get any stronger.
At this point in time, I'm just going to list cards that might do well in the deck:
Silence
Phase Shield
Fractal

Pharaoh
+1 pharaoh
3 pharaohs is a good mean, so you can get more out.
+4 scarab
There are going to be times when pharaohs can't pump out enough scarabs; play these ones to get the rest up to par with 'swarm'.
+2 unstoppable
Make some punch through the shields, and do some good damage.
+4 gravity pendulums
Same as above.
I'm going to do the same as what I did up there:
Catapult
Chargers
Pulvy (another one)
