Most deckout stalls use Eternity on a RoL or other free card, which is fine but makes you use Time for a deckout stall.
I was thinking about a deck where the returned card is a permanent.
The idea would be the following:
An entropy/light deck with a gravity mark; Graviton Salvagers, Butterfly Effect, Sundial as the crucial cards. Probably combines well with Miracle, Antimatter, SoF or SoD. Perhaps, with a rainbow you can quint your Salvagers and have Deadly Poison.
The idea is to BE your Salvager(s).
With the Sundial, if required, you can cycle through Amethyst Towers as needed and otherwise use just for the stasis. As it lasts for two turns, against creature-based opponents you can wait until the second turn to destroy it (with your Graviton Salvager). This way you have a constant supply of stasis AND you can keep drawing every two turns (or every turn if you cycle two Sundials alternately).
The opponent will eventually deck out and not be able to attack you with creatures. PC won't harm you (as much as for a PD-SoSac deck) as it will just return you the permanents!
Possible variations:
In a rainbow, as already mentioned, you can use Quintessence. Also, keeping all creatures in stasis while recovering the dials can allow a Poison Dials deck spin-off, OR use Shard of Gratitude to complement it... there are endless possibilities.
Shard of Focus/Discord also match the elements of the deck (Gravity+)Entropy/Light so it is fully possible to use Discord as the weapon!
What do you think?
I haven't started creating it yet because I have no clue about what balance of cards to use, and there are so many useful combinations that I am not sure which would be best.
