Is there any use for Antlion?

I usually try to make decks using underused cards.
But Antlion...
Seriously, does anyone have any ideas for unupgraded Antlion? Graboid outlcasses it in almost any way, it doesn't have a good cost to attack ratio. It can burrow, but then only does 1 damage. Does anyone have any ideas for a deck based around Antlion? @_@

I'd use it as a fodder creature that needs a bit more survivability than gnome rider.

The upped one is a decent card, but graboid outclasses it most of the time, so it doesn't really see use.  The unupped one is pitiful, and I can't ever imagine using it.  I don't think even a 60 card monoearth deck would use the unupped one.

The unupped is technically balanced (Blue Crawler is 3 for 3|3, Antlion is 2 for 2|3), but why would you waste deck space on a 2-attack creature? The upped, on the other hand, is actually a pretty good card. It might find use in mono-:earth, or in a rainbow that already has high usage (2 elite antlions > 1 steel golem).

And horned frogs are 2 for 3/3. And  has adrenaline. @_@

adrenalions? There's not much you can really do with antlions, even upped.

Antlion is underused because it is usually replaced by Grabboids.

Antlion is outshone by both of them because grabboids have way higher attack, and golems have much higher attack and durability for only a few more quanta. Antlion can be useful upped as they are now 4|4 creatures for 2 and you can use them to "dump" the remainder of your earth quanta for some quick damage.

Mutation fodder in a fun deck... except that iridium warden performs that better.

it'd be more complicated to use plate armor and rage pot with graboids as you also need . maybe with gnome rider and immolations this could work. and using golems would probably work better as you don't need plate armor anymore. but i honestly can't think of a deck where i use unupped antlions...
