Phoenix/Purify Deck, thoughts? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=53526.msg1123055#msg1123055

Hello,

I just started this week and have had success with a combination of Phoenix & purify (with a water mark) to counteract death decks and was wondering what everyone thinks. I put my deck link below:

From what you say, it sounds like it needs steamies and a couple pends. Just so you can make a viable deck.

Also, the symbol above the  8) emoticon let's you post deck images.

dawn to dusk's suggestion would be something like this

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f8 5f8 5fc 5fc 5fc 5fc 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ia 5ii 5ii 5ii 5ii 8pp

It would be nice to reduce the deck size even further.

Those looks great! And thanks for showing me where the deck code/viewer icon is, I appreciate it. Also, I was wondering if a bone wall & soul catcher combo would be a good addition as well to absorb some damage in case I have a bad pillar draw? With immolations & phoenixes, I think I should be able to generate enough death quanta, but was wondering what you all think.

That's true, I could take some deflagrations and pillars out probably, thanks!

Please don't double post.

Also, Phoenix is my favorite card... So, something like this caught my eye >.>
Purify is the most annoying thing to play against with PDials, Poison Rushes, anything that has to do with Poison or SoSac.
Phoenix is hard to kill (unless they have something to lobo them and then mass kill them all.
Steam Machines offer lots of damage as well as some defense, having 6 HP unupped and 15 upped.
Deflag is good for removing their important weapons, certain shards, or shields, so you can rush damage.
Fire Bolt, Rain of Fire and Fire Shield offer you some CC, allowing yourself to rush and stopping the opponent from dealing too much damage, this is where Purify can be used again, throw it on yourself and you've got some health regen, not much, but some. Freeze will also offer you some protection, stopping them for 3 turns.
Fahrenheit is just a weapon to hold the slot, dealing more damage.

The low down on every card >.>
Never, ever play leap frog with a unicorn.

that would certainly be unique, i havent seen any fire/death duo decks, (they probably werent successful) but then again, i havent searched for them lol. give it a shot
