The thing about immolation phoenix decks is that you some of the immolations can be cast on phoenixes themselves if you have not enough photons. Also, ash eaters don't do much damage and would be wiped out very easily by creature control. Your current deck is bound to have excess  quanta that becomes useless if your enemy can survive more than a few turns. I recommend the following changes:

-1 Photon, -6 Ash Eater
+3 Crimson Dragon, +3 Deflagrate, +1  Pillar

I would also replace the remaining photons with sparks but that's a small issue.

might I suggest: -3 ash eater, -6 pillars, +3 chaos seed, +3 vampire stiletto, +2 deflagration, +1 crimson dragon. That's what I play and it works wonders (seed and stilettos are played off immolation).

Take out:
6 x ash eater
1 x immolation
3 x photon

Add:
2 x fire bolt
2 x fahreinheit
1 x fire shield
1 x Rain of fire
2 x Defrag
2 x Crimson Dragon

hmm i used to run pheonixes myself, but i found out they where as good as lava golem decks, but heres my deck before i switched:

you can exchange the fire spirits with pretty much ANYTHING: cheap weapons(any elements because immolations give +1 of all elements, so you can activate 2 immolations, get out a druidic staff, try for element mastery), or some cheap shields, or pretty much anything, although i do not reccoment firebolts, this is a rush deck and firebolts just slow it down.

then farm T50 with the pheonix/golem one (replace fahrenhiet with hammer) until you get one and then you have a fahrenhiet!
