So, I've been messing around with SoP again. Result: here.
As you can see, this needs a lot of work. Any suggestions? Assume that the upped cards are unupped, if you want a basic version- Telling me to up the deck isn't very useful.

This would probably do a lot better as either a mono :water or a :death / :water duo with chrysaoras for some extra creatures. Either way, chuck the poseidon and the guards, and add in a couple of floodings. These aren't necessarily for the patience bonus, it (more importantly) means that you only need 2 squids to lock down the entire enemy field.

I like the  :water/ :death one, but I don't think it needs 4 shards. Since only one at a time is effective, treat them as shields/weapons. I would make it 2, 3 at most.

Given that you can't really do damage without the shards, it's important to draw one early. Also, given how much everyone loves PC, backups are good as well.
