So I recently had the idea to boost :water creatures by 5 each turn by combining SoP and Overdrive.
And indeed, the atk increase is incredibly fast. However I lack some stall since SoP doesn't let you atk.
So either I have to speed things up somehow or stop the opponent from attacking.
Other than that, the deck works fine, except for some tight quanta from time to time (especially :gravity).
Besides, I chose those creatures because they're cheap and allow a quick start with SoP.

I'm still toying around with it, adding more Octopus and balancing quanta but I wanted to show you the idea
and see what feedback and suggestions you have :)

you want more stall? yes more squids are needed then, congeal is awesome and 4 turns gives you 20 more attack with the combo set up. was hoping you would use crawlers as they start with already high hp and attack, letting you reach high values of attack faster. i wouldnt use only pendulums, i think you will be producing a bit of excess  :gravity and then have little  :water to play your creatures

this is my variation of the deck:

Too much wasted gravity, why not just 6 octopus and:
1) gravity mark and water pilars
2) water mark and gravity pends
?

Chimeras are totally worth it. So are permafrosts.
PVE shouldn't be all about copying a deck code and converting time into electrum, score, and potentially rares.
If the only way to derive fun from a game is its PVP content, then non-hardcore players a.k.a. the mass are alienated from the hardcore community.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone!
I tested few times the decks that have been posted.

@Poker:
Your deck works fine. The Octopus and the crawler work nicely together.
Also, the Octopus provide the needed stall I was looking for.
Thanks for posting!

@Vineroz:
Very interesting variation! Well done! :)
I often had very bad opening hands because I ended up with SoP, Sundials
and Overdrives in my hands and nothing else. So there was a little lack of creatures.
But when it works the stall is good. The use of SoFo is very versatile since it is PC,
BH and good to use overdrive on. Only thing I don't like much is that if I don't draw SoFo
I might be forced to use overdrive on Octopus which removes my only stall ability.

@Mathematistic
The addition of Permafrost was a very good idea. Also I think that Chrysaora are better
than Abyss Crawler since they're cheaper. Your version has lots of excess quanta and I have
a feeling that it can be bothersome to wait for a SoP so you can start to increase your damage.
That's why I'd probably change a tower or pend for another SoP. Good deck, thanks for posting :)

@Chapuz
1) I think it takes too much time to get an overdrive when powered by mark.
2) Not sure here... probably because I want to play the creatures first.

I ended up with this version:

I know that :water is a bit starved but it does the job. Well, I think I got enough input to optimize this! Thanks everyone for your feedback! :)
This forum and its user are great ;)

the final result is quite interesting :O seems to work quite well

physalias for early overdrive target
congeal so you can stall just enough for your attack pottential to grow
sundials also help at mid-late game if you need that extra turn of SoP
chimera to make your final turn impervious to any shield

i like it a lot!maybe i would just swap a physalia for another sundial, giving more stall but making the deck a bit less reliable, so its more of a playstyle than performance issue
