I can quite see the combo, but aren't you overusing deflags?
Also, wouldn't a fire mark be better than water mark?

While Steam Machine can be very helpful in this deck (just don't let them suck out all the fire quanta), the Toadfish aren't essential, you can even drop them. I put in an upped tear because I see you already have one, and here upped=better. The probably best upgrade in the deck I posted here, and in yours too, are Deflagrations. Next in priority is Air Pendulum.

This was used by Team Water in War #3. The difference is in the lack of Deflags, in favour of Ice Bolts. When you have everything ready, you should immolate the nymph. Also, the bolts chop off some additional damage and offer some needed CC.
In fact, Permanent Control in this deck is kind of useless. If there's a weapon bothering you, just Bolt it, and hope it freezes.
