Need help with duo Entropy/Darkness deck versus AI3 https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=19802.msg250976#msg250976

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vd 4vd 4vh 4vh 4vn 4vn 50u 50u 50u 5uo 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ur 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 6rm 6rn 6rn 6rn
This is my first deck ever, but I have some problems tuning it. I am not really sure what to do, that's why I am asking here :)

Well, I am having problems with creature control, such as Otyughs. I am also having problems with my permanents, as they are vulnerable. I also believe you guys can see even more problems :P I am willing to sacrifice the shards, just using them for the regen and the hp bonus for EM.
I wanted to create a deck that focuses on healing/draining the opponent cratures + damage, but it didn't really work as intended.

Antimatter is there for the big creatures, and there are a few vamps + a Stiletto there for regen. Maxwells for the creatures I have to get rid of fast, and Lycans for gettin' in a few hits too. Nightfall for more damage/healing, and the steals for some degree of permanent control.

It's a kinda random build, as sometimes I EM AI3, and sometimes they EM me, but I really do not want to throw this idea in the trash yet, and just find a deck already made (because I guess there are a few decks like this one already.)

So I really want a lot of constructive criticism, anything from starting over from scratch, or just changing to a mono-build. As I stated earlier, this is my first (working) build at all, so in a way I am kinda proud :D haha

Yep, the Shards can and should be removed from the deck because you're against AI3, and you'll want more speed instead.

Your :darkness quanta usage is much too high for just 3 Pends and a Mark to fuel, so it's best to swap a few Amethyst Pillars out for Entropy Pends. Even more intriguing is the option of going with an Entropy mark and Darkness Pends.

Maxwell's Demons and Antimatters are nice, but they cost too much for you to reliably get them out each game -- plus, the Demons are a little too situational.

Sample deck build:
Code: [Select]
4vh 4vh 4vh 4vh 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5uo 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ur 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5uu 5uu 606 606 606This is a bit less Entropy-focused, but the addition of Liquid Shadow brings lots of utility to the deck. You can use it to remove annoying enemy skills (i.e. Devour, Lobotomize, etc.) or to get EMs (by putting them on Black Dragon or buffed Lycans). The quanta balance should be a bit better now as well.

As always, playtest and adjust the deck for quanta balance and feel free to swap out some cards for your own variation.
I'm doing science, and I'm still alive.

Ah, nice! Thanks a lot for the constructive criticism!

I had a look at it, and it worked wonders :)
