Here's what I know, where do I go from here? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=53207.msg1119263#msg1119263

My first moderately successful deck (without "netdeck"ing):

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 594 594 596 596 596 596 596 596 5f6 5f6 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5j2 5j2 5j2 5j2 8pp

I've been using it to grind ai3, pvp1 and to a lesser extent Bronze arena. The idea is to stall with the Wardens + Shard to swing with enough damage to kill the opponent after two attacks.
After auto-losing to dim-shield I splashed deflagration and have done a bit better vs them. People in pvp1 keep calling me cheap and say that Shard of Patience is overpowered. : (

I'm wondering how you'd make this better and if you think there's a future for this style of deck.

If this has been done before, I'd appreciate a link. This forum is HUGE.  ?_?

1. I would have appreciated a deck code, but I can't complain really.

2. Do you have any Arctic Squids?

If you do, I would try something a little more watery. Although, most decks that have Dim Shield, Gravity Shield, or Wings, will beat this deck.

Deck import code : [Select]
58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 58u 596 596 596 596 596 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5ia 5ib 5ib 5ib 5ic 5ic 5j2 5j2 5j2 5j2 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pm

If you have any Tridents, you can do it like that.
Early game control and late game damage is nice to have.

Later on, I would try to aim for "Swallow" though. Here is the deck made by SnoWeb:

I like the idea a lot, but I think the fire is out of place, if you really wanted those deflags, them maybe change your mark to fire? and add a few water pillars? also swallow is an amazing deck, and it uses utgs, you could try an un-upped version of that if you wanted. but awesome idea!
Controlling Entropy is like trying to controlling randomness which can never be done.

My first version did have some squids but I traded them out for the deflags because of those shields mentioned. I think that the Warden is better than the Squid here anyway because when paired with the Gnome Rider, you can stop creatures for free.

"Swallow" is interesting but I have very few upgraded cards. It looks like a very long road to get to a position where I can start playing fully upgraded decks.

If you have few upgraded cards, you can go FGs, and get fast electrum in there. They give upgraded cards sold for at least 1100 electrum each!

But the squids aren't removed from combat when they freeze a creature. The Wardens need a turn, and also the Squids freeze for 3 turns and don't guard for 1. Airborne creatures are immune to the Warden's guard ability DAMAGE, but can still be guarded for a turn, whereas the Squids takes them out for 3.
