My First Deck - Mono Entropy https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=15955.msg204452#msg204452

Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vf 4vf 4vg 4vg 4vg 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vn 4vn 4vn
This is the first deck i've made by myself so far. Has generally worked well against AI3 and PVP1, in that out of 50 games (25 pvp, 25 AI3) I've only lost 4 games between them. If anyone has any suggestions or anything they'd like to say then it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

not bad on the first look.

on a closer view, your quanta usage is too high, compaired with your pillars.
if you use the Quanta Index (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5676.0.html) to calulate the right amount of pillars:

usage: 88 (without taking quanta loss from diss shield)
pillars: 13

QI = 6.77
better would be a QI around 5

short: you have too expensive cards, or too less pillars.

solution:
replace some expensive cards with pillars.
also the diss shields should be used as emergency plan in this deck. 2 of them should do it.

tweaking suggestion:
-1 diss shield
-1 dragon (or antimatter, or 2 mutations and adding 3 pillars, whatever you like)
+2 pillars
QI would be now 5.0 (without taking quanta loss from diss shield).

Brilliant thanks mate, do you reckon it will still work well when upgraded?

it will work even better upgraded ;)
but your abominations will do less dmg - maybe you want to take more dragons then (if you have enough entropy towers).

some cards change if upped in your deck:
chaos power (upped chaos seed) = buff spell
diss shield = same cost, but takes quanta from all elements (no use in your deck).

the rest will do just more efficient if upped.

The biggest changes that would come upped is that the abominations would be pretty much useless then. If upped, I would take more dragons less abominations, but that would leave you slightly higher at quantum usage.

To fix what you already have, -2 abominations, -1 shield +3 pillars would be the best IMO. Also, a Maxwell Demon or two is pretty nice.

I think thinking in the upgrade path is pretty premature right now...

As hrmmm said, nice deck to be your first one, and in your place I'd do what they say, but I wouldn't upgrade this deck.
If you don't have a FG grinder you should make yourself one, if you do have one, you might have to change the strategy, since there are more entropy upped cards worthy of a place in this deck (improved mutation, Werewolf and a darkness mark, chaos power and sparks*?*)
