hi there, i've just finished the quests and get owl's eye as a weapon, here is my deck. As you can see is based on spamming fireflies and protect with hope. It take a bit to place the combo on the board but once it happens the match is 80% already won. I think it needs more control cards because shields like firewall and poison thorns are pain for the weak fireflies. Any suggestion?

The most important thing is 4-5 rustlers and queens, 3 just doesn't cut it because inevitably you'll have to draw another rustler or queen sometimes, and with 3 the chances are a good deal slimmer. I've tried using an improved miracle, but by the time I can accumulate 12 light quanta, I already have enough creatures to stay alive with bonds.

Take out the Fireflies and add in more key cards.

ok, after some matches i refined the deck, including my first upgraded card. As advised i removed fireflies and placed another FFQ and a rustler instead. My question now is: have i to make room for some control cards like storms and shockwaves? or even some novas and a deflagration?

I've tried deflags, but unless you're going rainbow or can stay in-element for perm/creature control, it's best to try to focus on your combo. another owl's eye would help. I don't really get the sundial. Do you still heal with it? It only stalls for 1 turn, so it's really only useful to give you 1 more turn to start healing, and you very very often won't draw it early enough for it to be useful. Upgrade the rustlers if you want to start upgrading, since 3 hp lets them survive a fire shield, spine carapace, etc. and gives you a much better winning percentage.

I recommend you replace the sundial and a wind pillar with fog shields. You'll draw one early on fairly often, and it's really helpful to stall until you can get up a hope. You don't awnt as many or more than your hopes, since you'd rather have a hope, but a fog shield lets you play some empathetic bonds and still have a couple turns left to get :light to play a hope.

I personally don't really like FFQ rush decks, since they're fairly boring to play and are frustrating against fast rushes/denial/mass creature control decks. However, when they get set up they're dang hard to stop without the right cards.

Good luck!
