Hi everybody,

This deck is intended for AI3/4. It uses shields to stall for time while the SoVs slowly eat away at the opponent's max hp.

Card Purposes:
  • Shards of Void: Whittle away at the opponent's max hp
  • Aether Towers: Provide quanta
  • Phase Shield: Used to stall for time while the SoVs do their job
  • Electrocutor: CC but also final damage if the psions do not appear (unless there are shields)
  • Quintessence: Protects the psions
  • Psion: Used to deal damage without being blocked by shields
  • Dark Mark: Shard of Void takes away 1 extra hp (also summons He Who Must Not Be Named :P)

Potential Adjustments:
  • Might swap Quintessences for Shards of Wisdom

how does it do it against Gold/Plat/AI4?

Also, SoW is useless without quints unless you have immaterial creatures.

Yeah, I meant to put in that I would be using Elite Phase Dragons is I used SoW

My suggestion:

(or that with -1 mindgate +1 lobo)

Thunderbolt instead of psion. Even if you play a psion early, the SoVs will most likely remove more max hp than the damage you do. SoVs do reduce the max hp only, thus any damage/turn lower than the amount of hp SoVs are reducing is unnecessary.

Mindgates for PC decoy. AI will target Mindgate over other permanents so they act as a soft protection for the shards and shields. You can also use their ability if you have excess of :aether.
It is just an idea, do not add them if you don't like it.

I also just realized that solar shield can reflect the thunderbolt/psion damage, so electrocutor may be needed.
