well, I don't think so because you can also use another mark then the base element. You are saying you can't use fate egg in a mono time deck? If you use TU or mindgate or steal in mono's they still count as mono.

It doesn't count, but for a completely different reason. It doesn't count because it's not even remotely consistent. This study is looking for decks that can be consistently fast.
