Eternal Crusade - Light time FG farmer https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=19681.msg249934#msg249934

I'm playing around with this Idea since a while (see here http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17360.msg235856#msg235856) and I'm not completely satisfied of the result. Depending on my mood I sometimes add a SoR in there (for the crusaders). I would enjoy any suggestion that would help me to improve the win rate of this deck (now around 35-40%).

Here is the deck:
Code: [Select]
5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 6rn 7jv 7jv 7jv 7k2 7k5 7k5 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q5 7q5 7q8 7q8 7q8 7qd 7qd 7qd 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri 7ri
Here is a success against Osiris (IRG - easy):

Feel free to comment and discuss. Thanks in advance.

Why do you use unupped Sundials? With the new Elements version the upped one is strictly better as it costs the same to draw a card but is free to play! ;)

upped sundials can mess with the auto-mulligan, unupped sundials are fine.

I'd say add more Turtle Shields, it'll probably help to buy you some time, maybe take out a tower for it? (not to sure about your quanta balance issues.

IMO, that'll just mess up automulligan

Some people overestimate auto-mulligan, upped sundials will most likely help out more than that 3%ish(or something like that) you get no pillars for your draw.

Auto-mulligan has been the go-to reason for not using zero-cost cards for a while, which really bugs me. If you're running a PSNbow, it might be a problem. If you have 11 Towers, don't worry about it.

As for the deck itself, I think the weakest point is that it isn't a rainbow. That said, it's still a nice-looking deck.

Thanks. As you said, it is not a rainbow and from this two problems arise: (1) you have limited amount of cards with which you can tweak the deck (2) you can't add permanent control. The latest reason is the main reason why in duo (trio with animate weapon) the only viable option for FG grinding with dune is IMHO with entropy (Eternal chaos (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17360.msg235856#msg235856) or eSco (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,11715.msg154119#msg154119)).

Concerning the present deck, I tried to replace a crusader by a mirror shield which increases the win rate against some FGs (e.g. oracle). I'm still open to any suggestion/advice about this deck. However, considering the lack of PC and the minimal defence, I do believe that there isn't much to do to increase the win-rate against the hardest gods ...

get rid of crusader and see the win % go way up
Zombie0 gives 110 percent whenever he's in the arena. He's a team player who delivers both offensively and defensively. He has no idea what a Quantum is.

That is completely wrong. In many situations, it serves as an extra eternity, which can bounce back the FG's creatures, locking them down & adding more counters to the neurotoxin.

I wonder about +blessings & animate weapon to really bring out the potential of Eternity/Crusader, and a :light nymph if you have one. It's the newly proclaimed defensive powerhouse, and I feel that, disregarding 1) there aren't any creatures that don't have effects - and 2) Miracle wipes out all of your :light - it could give some extra damage potential to the deck. With those cards, I think you need another Hourglass though.
