i used to have a deck rather similar to this, tho it was pure dark, as in no other elements were used, at all. it was deadly fast and got me a lot of EMS, it only had drags, LSs, devourers, and shields (pillars of course too)
edit: no shields
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!

If you want to burrow your devourers then switch the mark to earth (this gives you plus 1 to the hammer) if not use a short sword, either way lose the quantum pillars and switch them for obsidian pillars.

It is very large. To make a faster darkness deck, you can get rid of some elements (gaarh, no pun intended as always :P)

Get rid of:

6 X Quantum Pillar
1 X Hammer
4 X Liquid Shadow (Not much use in this deck; creatures don't have very high HP, and you already have Drain Life for control)
2 X Drain Life (3 is plenty for creature control or direct opponent damage.)

Add a Steal for more permanent control.

Drop the quantum pillars.  Either go for minor vampire rush or liquid shadow rush.  Drop a few drain lifes and go with steals instead.  The basic deck you are going for:
Shadowed dragons:
Mark of Darkness
Obsidian pillar x 10
Dark Dragon x 6
Vampire's tears x 6
Dusk mantle x 1
Weapon of choice x 1
Steal x 2
Drain life x 2
Nightfall x 1
Devourer x 1

or

Buffed Vampire
Mark of Darkness
Dark Pillar x 5
Duo pillar of choice x 5
Minor vampire x 6
Buff of choice  x 6 (parallel universe, blessing, adrenaline, chaos power, you name it)
Shield of choice x 1
Weapon of choice x 1
Nightfall x 1
Any versatile cards x 5 (steal, drain life, anything from your duo element)

Switch your mark from "Darkness" to "Earth", then. :P

Is that really all that big of a deal to you?

If so, why not use Earth pillars, you'd need less.  And devourers being burrowed doesn't really help all that much, does it?  Why are your devourers in there anyway?

like everyone has said.

Take out the quantum pillars, take out the short sword, take out Pulverizer.

Change your mark to Earth and all problems solved.
