Malignant cell + emphatic bond

I tried to create a deck like the one below.


The idea is to use aflatoxin on one of your own virusses to create a malignant cell that (with emphatic bond) will easily keep you alive. Meanwhile you can poison your opponent to death.

It seems to work in some cases but has too many obvious shortcomings (eg thunderstorm, enemy shields, faster decks). So it doesn't work in general and i'm wondering if anyone can make it work

This has been tried.  A lot.  So you may be able to learn quite a bit from other forum posts.  I've never seen anyone find a way to make it really shine but if you decide to continue, here are my thoughts.

Six aflas is probably unnecessary.  If you had a jade shield you could afla opponent as well, and you'd be immune to some spell decks.   Upping poison would be a huge help.  I'd add a second arsenic.  Also, if you adrenaline cells they multiply much faster.

yeah, he's describing probably the best case scenario afla deck, but the problem is, it can easily be stopped, almost every shield....even the pathetic solar shield, can stop it (only exception is ). plus any cc, unstable gas and thunderstorm being the biggest problems. Oty decks/ flying titan(and other gravity pull decks) also would kill this, fire buckler decks, another afla/ EB deck (ferox), freeze decks, lobos, a lot of stalls (mono  ), and if you go against a "mutant factory" deck, you are actually feeding the beast, pretty much any lvl 3 grinding deck would beat this

Well, i've tried to add a bit here and change a bit there and it still didn't work out alright 


When it does work, however, it's very satisfying to receive +75hp every time while the opponent is slowly dying from your poison but even then you're not safe from golden dragons + blessings + miracles.

With the introduction of scorpions, there are lots of ways to poison your enemy.

Might I suggest adding upgraded thorn carapace and hitting your opponent with aflatoxin as well?  You'll lock down his side of the field and kill everything, especially with the viruses you have.

Either get some permanent control or just get another damage disher would be my suggestion

I love the red glow, but to me the card still says 'empathic'? Seems like both are acceptable English words so I guess it doesn't matter that much 



The scorpion-thing might just work, or anything that can pack some damage, maybe I'll these ideas a shot when the trainer is upgraded to the latest version (or whatever).

Technically, empathic and empathetic are synonymous. However, the word used for the Elements card is Empathic.
