I´ve tried loads of diffrent variations of weapon decks. In the end it´s just to slow to play vs gods. None worked.

The current false god decks are pretty similar, while it seems quite unlikely a better 'type' of deck could be made, it might be possible.

One possibility is a Flying Weapons deck, I've made one that is worse than the normal decks, does pretty good though (65-75%ish). For the most part the cards are the same as current anti-god decks.

Here's an picture of it beating Hermes

Here are some advantages and disadvantages I can think of

advantages
Many of the flying weapons are quite tough, eternity has 8 toughness, pulverizer has 12, etc.
You can use multiple weapon abilities simultaneously, which can be quite powerful.
Weapons fit well in a rainbow deck, relatively low cost
You can use more than 1 of a weapon, drawing it more often and sooner, and not have useless duplicates in your hand.

disadvantages
Requires 2 cards, animate weapon and the weapon itself. a rewind would be very bad.
Only 1 creature, not as much synergy with feral bond, etc.
others

I'm interested in seeing anyone else try to make an anti-god animate weapon deck, as more people with more ideas seems to lead to the best deck being made ;p  I'll be trying things out for awhile.  So far I'm iffy on Eagle's Eyes, it's really easy to run out of wind quantum... but it could work well.

I was tempted by this idea as well, but i haven't found a deck better than the classic rainbow yet. The deck i'm trying now only uses two weapons (eternity: to continue playing when i draw all my cards, pulverizer to counter permanents)  and one flying weapon card.
