Late game stall fractal dragons is a whole other strategy. I'd just stick with the deck your opponent out strategy. Most decks don't carry too many monsters, so even the amount of control you carry in there should be sufficient. Stilleto is definitely better than pulvy since you are not worried about opponent permanents at all. Besides, you need all the healing you can get.

Since your deck is about having excessive CC, why not change weapon to an owl's eye to take advantage of easy renewable CC?
