I obliviously plan to have most cards upgraded - most importantly the bow and the shield. I checked the QI of the deck and it came out almost 5 dead, throught I think the upgrades might change it a bit.

Any tips that might make this run smoother, or against such powerful opponents should I try something completely different?

I like the way the deck looks. But 3 things

1 It might be more stable if you add more pends and take out more pillars (as in +2 light pends -1 light pillar - 1 wind pillar)

2 QI doesnt always make the perfect ratio. if you feel while playing it that you are lacking in a certain type of quanta often dont hesatate to change the quanta base.

3 upgraded fireflies actually produce fire instead of light so if you upgrade it keep those unupped.

And if you were to go for more powerful opponents than AI3, I would recommend something different like these (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,214.0.html)

won't work against FGs. Simply not enough damage output/defense.

I thought so dammit...

Grrrr, this deck should be powerful enough to be able to face an FG... I hate it when certain decks simply work better then others...

But yeah, I'll try the pendulm idea, and I knew about the upgraded flies making fire.

Edit:

Question. Should I use Blessing in this deck? One of my main problems is the lower attack of my monsters, and it could remedy that. As well as being a good card to use with Pegasus

If you're going to go blessing, make it a pure peggy rush.

There's no way this can go up against FGs. Not only is it not upped at all, but the effectiveness of your cards aren't that great at all, especially compared to what the false gods have. You'll get crushed in no time if you bring up an AI3 fighter against FGs.

Well duh. I know that against the FG as it is, the deck will fail.

That's why I'm asking for suggestions as to how to improve it (above the obvious upgrading) so I can take on FG's... or at least half-bloods on a consistent basis.

If you're going for halfbloods, look here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,180.0.html)

A light/air duo such as yours seems like it can only be pretty good at AI3.

If you like the Bioluminisence + Hope strategy against FGs, you can always go for a RoL + Hope deck (even with only 6 upped). There are several variations in the threads furballnd just mentioned.

The problem is really that you won't be able to stall.

FGs are designed that it is near impossible (it has been done, but this is obviously not recommended) to rush them. You have to be able to stall while prepping your win condition.

Light/Air has healing potential but is not able to stall alone- The FGs will simply outrush you.

I see... thank you for that explanation as to why such a deck is unable to go against FG...

Through, doesn't Wings help a LOT for stalling?
